Longing in advent

Wish i could
Touch you with my lips,
Instead of having
This endless taste of miss

Wish i could
Hear your voice,
Not ever wonder
What would be  your choice

Wish i could
Hold your hand,
Rather than feeling
That i wander in hell

Wish i could
Wash your feet,
Not wasting
My tears

Wish i could
Learn from you,
Not second thoughts
And reading with no clue

Wish i could
Wish i could
Jesus,
Wish i could.

Mom's Poem

I remember myself being a child
following you as a kite.
I remember your voice singing soft,
And watching you cooking plums.

I remember your venous hands
Knitting hugs and waving goodbyes.
I remember the movies that you taught me to love,
And dancing all the time.

I remember you driving
While poplars passed me by,
I remember the calmness with the wink of your eye
And your whistle with such a particular style.

These memories have built a place
Where I can always run when I need to feel safe
My starting point to anywhere:
My mother’s name.
